Compressed Gas Storage and Segregation
Compresses Gas Storage
- Store in an approved vented gas cylinder cabinet or vented enclosure with the safety cap in place when not in use.
- Cylinders must be secured with nylon strap or chain
- Close the cylinder valve and screw on the safety cap when not in use.
- An excess flow restriction device must be installed at the cylinder.
Compresses Gas Segregation
- Oxidizing gas shall have a minimum of 20 ft. separation from flammable gases outside of a gas cabinet and flammable liquids.
