Compressed Gas Storage and Segregation

Compresses Gas Storage

  • Store in an approved vented gas cylinder cabinet or vented enclosure with the safety cap in place when not in use.
  • Cylinders must be secured with nylon strap or chain
  • Close the cylinder valve and screw on the safety cap when not in use.
  • An excess flow restriction device must be installed at the cylinder.

Compresses Gas Segregation

  • Oxidizing gas shall have a minimum of 20 ft. separation from flammable gases outside of a gas cabinet and flammable liquids.
